Lymphatic Drainage Compression Boots

Lymphatic drainage boots increase blood flow through air compression technology. This engages a lymphatic flush whereby waste products, inflammation and swelling are more efficiently removed. This enhances immune system function and promotes healthy blood flow.

What to expect:

  1. Device Setup: Our trained staff will help set up the boots. You will be comfortably laying on a bed. Our staff will zip your legs into the boots and will program the device based on your individual needs.

  2. Session: The lymphatic compression boots will apply dynamic compression to the legs. The sensation to expect involves cyclical patterns of increasing pressure in specific legs areas. Each cycle will begin at the compartment most distal, slowly progressing up the leg.

  3. Monitoring: Throughout the session, our technicians monitor your experience, making any necessary adjustments to the treatment parameters.

  4. Duration: A session will usually last between 15 to 30 minutes but could take up to 1 hour.

How Do Lymphatic Drainage Compression Boots Work?

Lymphatic Drainage Compression Boots are divided into multiple overlapping zones which compress in distinct patters to mobilise fluid and promote blood flow from your lower extremities. This pattern utilises three techniques:

  1. Pulsing dynamic compression instead of static is able to more accurately mimic the muscle pump of the legs, ensuring maximal fluid movement

  2. Gradients are used to ensure the one-way flow of fluid from your legs. This works through the holding of pressure in the compartments below, facilitating an upwards flow of fluid.

  3. Distal release ensures the release of pressure of the boots when it's no-longer needed to prevent backflow. This ensures efficiency, allowing for maximal rest time without a break between compression cycles

Lymphatic Drainage targets:

  • Increased circulation

  • Promoting healthy blood flow

  • Supporting lymphatic system

  • Supporting detoxification processes

  • Reduced swelling of legs

  • Muscular support

  • Reduced inflammation
