Oligoscan | Heavy Metal and Mineral Testing
Oligoscan is a precise non-invasive evaluation of bioavailability of mineral, trace elements, and the rate of toxic metals in the skin and peripheral blood vessels in real time. The measurement is made on the surface of the hand utilising photospectrometry - a quantitative analytical method that measures the absorption or optical density of a mineral. It provides the measurement of 20 life essential minerals and trace elements and 14 toxic heavy metals.
Bio-impedance
Bio-impedance (Quad Scan) test is a quick, painless, computerised health analysis that has the capacity to give indications around important measurements including visceral fat, muscle mass, muscle quality and body hydration state including intra and extracellular water. It also measures Phase Angle which indicates integrity of the cell membrane and cellular health. Bio impedance involves attaching electrodes to the hand and foot that pass a low electrical current through the body. The current finds a pathway through lean tissues that have lower resistance than fat.
Microscopy
Here, a small blood sample is viewed using a microscope and digital image capturing technology to help investigate the size, shape, ratio, and fine structure of blood cells. A small prick of blood from the finger allows the image of the blood to be viewed in real-time providing indication on inflammation, oxidative stress, nutritional status, liver and immune health.
